 The nose is one of the parts of the respiratory system that let’s air in the body. Also your nose is the only part of the respiratory system that is visible externally. And the hair in your nose helps keep the air warm. Nose

  The mouth is also a part of the respiratory system that let’s air in your body. And the mouth help you eat. So you need your mouth clean. Mouth

 Trachea  The trachea is the main pipe in your body or the respiratory system. The trachea allows air to pass through into the lungs, also it connects to the nose and mouth and goes down to the lungs.

 BRONCHI  The bronchi is part of the trachea and it separates the trachea into two parts to get the air into the lungs. It provides a way for air to get into each lung. This is an important part of the respiratory system.

Lungs

 Oxygen passes through these into the blood inside the capillaries. They have tiny sacs covered in a network of capillaries. This organ belongs to the respiratory system. Alveoli

 1. Hairs in the nose help to clean the air we breathe as well as warming it 2. The breathing rate is faster in children and women than in men. 3. The right lung is slightly larger than the left Trivia facts

 First you breathe in the air through your nose or mouth and then the air travels into trachea and to the bronchi. Once it gets through the bronchi it goes into each lung. Also the air goes into the alveoli and into the blood inside of the capillaries. How It Works

  You can get sinus infections situating with the nose  Asthma cells block lungs and makes it hard to breathe  The common cold is situated with mouth (coughing)  The influenza virus spreads by touch but starts in the bronchi  The alveoli disease infects the alveoli making it almost impossible for oxygen to pass through Diseases

  What do the nose hairs do to air?  What does the trachea do?  Why do you need your mouth clean? 3 Questions

 Thank You for watching
