A Guided Tour of Paris 8 th grade project on “The City of Lights”

Where is Paris?  Paris is located on the Seine River in north- central France.  Paris was first settled in the 3 rd cent. BC by the Parisii.  Today, Paris is one of the most famous cities in the world.

A bird’s-eye view  Paris is divided into 20 districts called “arrondissements”  The Louvre is located in the 1 st, the Eiffel Tower in the 7 th and the Arc de Triomphe in the 8 th.
