Large GEM prototype production NS2 technique

Springs Modifications from previous prototypes Some modifications has been made on the external frame due to integration issues. A patch pannel is being made at Aachen. We will use professional spring contact probes for the HV connections on the GEM.

Status and Plan Internal frame in production. Drift board and readout board will be made in an external company during february. After discussions external frame will be made at CERN (first idea was Aachen but tools are not suitable). Specific tools has to be made for this work. The GEM are ordered, and expected to arrive by the end of february. All the components (screws nuts orings 10Mresistors and panasonic connectors )are ordered. The assembly will be made during march.
