Halloween is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints, but is today largely a secular celebration.Halloween activities include trick- or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, bonfires, apple bobbing,pranks and watching horror films.

Indefinite pronouns - Qeyri muəyyən əvəzlikləri Indefinite pronouns- some, any, Some və any is translated as “ bir neçə,hər hansı “.We use some in positives, but we use any in negative and interrogative sentences. for example: positive He has some English books. Onun bir neçə İngilis-dili kitabı var. interrogative Do you have any English books? Sizin Ingilis-dilində her hansi bir kitabınız var? negative He does not have any English books. Onun Ingilis-dilində heç bir kitabı yoxdur.

We combine the words ” any, some, no “ with the words ” one, body, thing, where” to make these following pronouns. Somebody, someone, anyone, anybody are used for people but something, anything are used for things. for example: I am hungry. I want something to eat Mən acam. Mən nəsə yemək istəyirəm I am not hungry. I don’t want anything to eat- Mən ac deyiləm. Mən heçnə yemək istəmirəm

There is somebody at the door. Qapıda kimsə var is there anybody at the door? Qapıda kimsə var? We use “anywhere, somewhere, nowhere” to talk about places. We went somewhere yesterday Biz dünən harasa getdik Did you go anywhere yesterday? Dünən bir yerə getmişdiniz? There was nowhere to hide Gizlənməyə heç bir yer yox idi

Nobody,Noone, Nothing – are negative pronouns. Noone, Nobody are translated as heç kim. Nothing- is translated as heç ne. When we use no, nothing,nobody – we do not use a negative verbs No one could answer this question. Hec kim bu suala cavab vere bilmedi. There was nothing Orada heçnə yox idi

We use some in question when we offer or ask for things. Would you like something to eat? Nəsə yemək istərdinizmi? Can I have some sugar please ? Zəhmət olmasa bir neçə qənd götürə bilərəmmi?
