How Does a School Qualify? Based on Poverty Rates (Free and Reduced Lunch Rates) 35% F&R qualifies for Targeted Assistance 40% F&R qualifies for School-Wide Assistance
Schools get a per pupil allotment based on their percentage of F&R students (this amount is recalculated every year). The district is also required to reserve funds for pre- determined allotments: 1% parental involvement set-asides 10%-20% support for Focus/Priority Schools
