Calling the Parent Call parent within 2 days of placement Introduce yourself. Ask about your new student. Ask good questions. Take good notes. Set your tutoring times and days. (parking info for parent)
On Your First Day Tutoring… Meet your student and family outside the Ed Lab. They will be coming in to sign papers. Wear your name tag. Talk about ‘pick up.’ Have parents see Ed Lab staff for any necessary paperwork.
