My Kenyan Adventure June 18 – July 10, 2006

After an 8 hour flight to London, a 12 hour layover, and another 9 hour flight to Kenya, we finally arrive at the Nairobi airport where we are greeted by Joseph and a host of drivers and vans.

… then a four hour ride to Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya. Complete with mirages….. and beautiful animals.

And our first game drive begins.

It is a National Geographic special on the BIG screen.

The animal parade never ends!

The water holds some surprises, too.

…and then there were birds.

….and more birds !

But we had more on our agenda than game drives! Our travels took us across the Great Rift Valley…

..through coffee plantations and across many miles.
