2 How did we get here? East Main Business Alliance (an alliance of Hispanic business owners) was formed to address crime in the district Crime typically involved the robberies of farm workers who carried large amounts of cash

Successes Charitable contributions – Community Trust Credit Union – San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce – Anheuser-Busch, Inc. – Food 4 Less Future Plans - Install security cameras at Main/Sonora, Main/Sharon Streets (considered “hot spots” for this type of crime)

7 Mission of LEALES Educate and inform Spanish speaking citizens about local area crime in an effort to make our community safer and our local economy prosper
