Retroflexion = the long axis of the corpus is bent backwards on the long axis of the cervix Retroversion = the long axis of the corpus and cervix are in line, and the whole organ has pivoted backwards in the relation to the long axis of the birth canal

Fixed retroversion uterine : - Dysmenorrhoea - Dyspareunia - Pelvic pain - Low backache - Infertility - Abortion

Non operative - pessary ( Hodge pessary) Operative ( indicated when the retroverted uterus is associated with endometriosis)
