Thursday Advisory pr 2 on Campus! Assemblies/Pep Rallies Afterschool Tutoring/Clubs Electronics

Assemblies/ Pep Rallies Be ProfessionalBe RespectfulBe Responsible 1. Act appropriately. 2. Be a role model. 1. Use appropriate language. 2. Listen to the speaker. 3. Maintain school rules and follow teacher directives. 1. Stay seated until released by sections. 2. Stay in designated areas by teacher. Why? The speaker deserves the same attention you would expect if you wanted to be heard. In case of an emergency classes must sit together so teachers can account for all students. For the sake of safety we must exit in an orderly manner.

Afterschool Tutoring/ Clubs Be ProfessionalBe RespectfulBe Responsible 1. Know what you ’ re in tutoring for. 1. Respect teachers ’ time by limiting cell phone use. 1. Carry Bus Pass 2. Be on time in your teacher sponsored area for the whole session. Why? If you walk into tutorials ready with the work you need to complete, you and your teacher have more time to get the work done and your grade will go up sooner. Less time on your cell phone means more time to get work done. You may only board the 5:25 PM bus if you have a signed bus pass.

Electronics Be ProfessionalBe RespectfulBe Responsible 1. Be aware of surroundings. 2. Follow red/green card usage signs and each classroom ’ s expectations. 1. Remove ear buds when communicating with others. 2. Keep volume levels low enough for personal use only. 1. Turn off and store electronic devices at 8: Keep track of your personal electronic device. Why? For the sake of safety you must always be aware of your surroundings (so you will not fall down the stairs or bump into other people). So you can hear adults and other students. It is just common courtesy that you give any person your full attention when they speak to you; show them you care to listen. As a courtesy avoid getting into another’s personal space with low volume. So you can hear when you get older.

No Electronic Devices Please, turn off your electronic devices. Please, store your electronic devices out of sight. Thank you for your professionalism.

Electronic Devices Allowed Only use your electronic devices as directed by your teacher. Thank you for your professionalism.

True/False? FALSE! TRUE! FALSE! 1. It is acceptable to text or talk during assemblies. 2. It is acceptable to leave Pep Rallies when you want to leave. 3. You must stay in your club or lunch tutorial the entire A or B lunch time. 4. Turn off and store your electronics AFTER you enter the classroom. 5. It is acceptable to get on the 5:25 PM bus without a bus pass signed by your teacher.
