Family and childhood Parents are Stephen and Viola. Sisters and brothers are Dean and June. He moved to many places to live. His childhood was like learning about airplanes. He went to college at Purdue. His interest was outer space.

Adult years The education he got is aeronautical engineering. He got married to Zcarol Knight and Janet Shearon. He had two children. For living he flew high and fast. The important things he did are the first man to walk on the moon,he flew airplanes as fast as sound and 207,500 feet up in the air.

Major Accomplishments He is known for he walked on the moon July at 9:56. He said “that’s one small step for man that’s one giant leap for man kind”.He also put the american flag on the moon. The impact he made is he has made the world excited about space exploration

Three Interesting Facts He got flying license before drivers license. When he flew on his first airplane he wasn’t scared and his dad was. He dose not want to be famous he wants to be a normal astronaut.

Final years He is still living.He is retired and living a private home.
