Finishing the Time Management Jigsaw

Now, back to your base groups! REMEMBER TO ALWAYS BE POLITE AND PATIENT  Teach about your quadrant to everyone in your group.  Group actively listens and takes notes on graphic organizer.  MAKE SURE EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS EVERY QUADRANT!!

Discussion on the Quadrants  FOUR CORNERS: Which quadrant do you think you are currently in?

Discussion on the Quadrants  FOUR CORNERS: Which quadrant would you LIKE to be in, in order to accomplish your goals and lead a productive life?

Discussion on the Quadrants  Give examples activities that fit into each quadrant.  What are the outcomes of living in each quadrant?  Which is the best quadrant to be in? Why?

Quadrants and Time Log Reflection  Complete thoughtfully and individually in SILENCE.  Look up for an explanation of Number 4. You must have the SAME units in order to be able to add the daily totals.

Quadrants and Time Log Reflection  Complete thoughtfully and individually in SILENCE. 1.According to how you spent your time over the past week, which quadrant is most dominant in your life right now? Provide evidence. 2.What are the outcomes of your current quadrant (eg: are you stressed and overworked, are you just barely floating by, slacking off?, etc.)? 3.Which would be the ideal quadrant for you and why?

Quadrants and Time Log Reflection 4. Count up the number of hours or minutes you spent on ACADEMIC activities OUTSIDE of regular class hours on a typical week. (subtract 330 minutes or 5.5 hours from your total daily Academic Activities, then add up the totals for each day). 5. Think about the answer to #4 (your total weekly hours spent on Academics outside of school) and think about your current grades. Is there a connection between your grades and the time spent on academics? Why or why not? Provide evidence.

Closing Questions? Homework: DUE TUESDAY  Finish Time Log Reflection
