Scafell pike Scafell pike is the biggest mountain in England. There are to mountain Scafell Pike and Scafell. Scafell pike is England's highest mountain standing at 3,210 feet tall.

Helvellyn Helvelyn in the snow is really slippery so you will have to be careful The Helvellyn fight in the Avro machine which landed on the mountain 22 December1926 Helvellyn means yellow upland.

Windermere Windermere is made up of 2 words ‘mere’ and ‘vinandr’. In 1895 Windermere was completely iced for over 6 weeks, making it possible to walk from 1 side to the other. It also froze in 1864, 1946 and 1963.

Skiddaw Skiddaw is the fourth highest mountain in the lake district It is 931 meters high Skiddaw is famous for being set in surrounding flat valleys which makes it look even more impressive!
