Step 1- Think it! When people lose their remotes, they have nothing to watch. Your television has a button to turn it on. Well mine does, and every time I press it, the television won’t turn on. I need my remote to turn it on. A device that has a button can be attached to your television with Velcro. When the button is pushed, the device on your remote will make a sound. If you can’t hear the sound, you can take the device with the button off the television, and move around the room pressing the button until you hear the sound. Then you can watch television.

Step 2 – Explore It! The remote control finder comes with a whistle and three caddies for up to three different remotes. When a remote becomes lost, the whistle is blown, and the caddie on the remotes sound. In order to create a “Paging system for your TV remote,” a person used a cordless phone pager system. He inserted the telephone handset’s circuit board, speaker, and battery inside the remote.

Step 3 – Sketch It!

Step 4 – Create It! First, my dad went out to find a doorbell set. Second, we opened up the set. Third, we cut the B- cord and the B+ cord and attached them to AA batteries. Fourth, we took the speaker out. Fifth, I got a television remote that we don’t use. Sixth, we attached the speaker to the back of the remote. Last, we put a plastic cover around the speaker, so it would not get damaged.

Step 5 – Try It! The first time I tried it, the sound was prefect, everything was perfect. When I pressed the button, it didn’t quickly make a sound, but then I figured out I had to hold the button down. When I held it down, it went off quickly.

Step 6 – Tweak It! I didn’t have to tweak it.

Step 7 – Sell It!
