WHAT IS INPUT DEVICES?  An input devices is a piece of hardware that is used to enter data into a computer

EXAMPLE  Keyboard  Mouse  Joystick  Scanner  microphone

WHAT IS KEYBOARD?  Keyboard  The keyboard is the most common and widely used input devices.

WHAT IS MOUSE?  Mouse  Everyone is familier with a computer mouse;along with the keyboard,it is one of the most common input devices you will use.

WHAT IS JOYSTICK?  Joystick  Joystick were originally used by pilots as part of an aeroplane controls and the technology was developed to let computer gamers experience a more realistic game environment.

WHAT IS SCANNER?  Scanner  Scanner can be used to convert images or text on paper into a digital format that can be used by the computer.

WHAT IS MICROPHONE  Microphone  A microphone can be used to input sound.

WHAT IS OUTPUT DEVICES?  An output devices is a piece of hardware that is used to display or output data whch has been processed or has heen stored on the computer.

EXAMPLE  Monitor  Printer  Plotter  Speaker  light

WHAT IS MONITOR?  Monitor  A monitor is the most commonly used output devices.

WHAT IS PRINTER?  Printer  Printer are another common output device.

WHAT IS PLOTTER  Plotter are a specialist type of printer which is able ot draw high quality images on very large pieces of paper ; for example 3 foot wide by 10 foot long.

WHAT IS SPEAKERS  Most computers are fitted with a small internal speakers which can reproduced beeping sound to alert you if you make an error
