Presentation transcript:

Divergent Plot Note Taking Assignment As you read, create a chronological list of the plot events from these chapters You should have a minimum of 15 events on your list, and the events must cover the entirety of these two chapters. Make sure you include the page numbers. This means if you get to 15 you, but have not covered both chapters, you need to add more events. Extra credit will be awarded for a thorough, thoughtful, and lengthy assignment Points will be deducted if the events are not in chronological order, if the events are not numbered and/or if you forget a major event from these chapters.

Divergent Vocabulary Note Taking Assignment Add five more words to your context clues vocabulary assignment. You need to repeat the same process we have done as a whole class together on your own: 1. Choose a word that you are not familiar with from the book. Write that word in the left hand column on your chart. This cannot be a word we have already used. 2. Predict what you think the meaning of that word is based of the context of the word. Write your prediction in the center column. 3. Look up the real definition of the word and right it in the right hand column of the chart.
