WHAT IS PATCHWORK? There are two types of patchwork: 1. Patchwork made by classical method ( just cotton and basis, on which we cut and sew in size 1:1, there can be filling in between) 2. Artistic patchwork made by combination of sewing, gluing, painting, different materials, the textiles are dyed by the author himself.

MARGARETA VOVK ČALIČ Does patchwork for about 30 years. The beginnings of her patchwork go back in time when the technique of patchwork in Slovenia practically unknown. Because of that she is most deserved for the recognition of patchwork in Slovenia. Obrtna zbornica Slovenije awarded her a title Master of art crafts.
