Madison Elementary School Progress Update September 24, 2015

Academic Performance Index

Madison has consistently ranked as the lowest performing elementary school in the district Three year average API of 719. The next lowest performing school had API average of 746.

Reclassification Data

Assistance / Intervention CRT/LDRT has been added to the campus full time for the school year Additional Community Outreach personnel added to the staff

Assistance/Intervention Teachers who chose to participate in Writer’s Workshop Training this summer receive intensive support (one-on-one coaching for planning instruction) throughout the year LADD office will provide intensive training on ELD strategies to improve re-classification rates

Assistance/Intervention All teachers will receive training in guided reading and leveled bookroom in order to assist with literacy instruction at the campus Madison is participating in LPI training (beginning in October) which will increase shared decision making processes on campus.
