Source: comres survey for BBC Newround of yr olds Feb in 5, year olds with a social media account said they’d been bullied online. 7 in 10, year olds with a social media account said they feel ‘happy’ when they use social media. 1 in 3, year olds with a social media account said they’d made friends on social media that they had not met. 1 in 3, 10 – 12 year olds with a social media account don’t think the Social Media companies take bullying online seriously enough
