Samantha Mayer I shop for you!

E XECUTIVE S UMMARY 2 This presentation was created to help you, the investor, decide that the app iShop is a good investment. This app will revolutionize the online shopping industry. This app gives the customer an easy platform to use and will encourage the customer to spend more, by showing them a multitude of related products. The app startup requires a $5,000 loan at 8% APR to be repaid over 5 years. This may seem like a large startup amount, but with the increased popularity of online shopping and the popularity of Apple, your investment will be repaid in a few short years.

I NTRODUCTION 4 As a Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development major at Ohio University, I knew there had to be a better way to online shop on your phone. I also wanted to create an app that made it easier to find the things you want to buy when they are on sale. This is why I created iShop. This app will help the user find the perfect apparel item that they are looking for, allow them to compare items side by side from different sites, and even alert the user when an item that they have saved as a favorite has gone on sale. Another great perk of this app, is that if the one item you really want is not on sale, iShop will find similar items that are on sale for you to choose from. Once you find that perfect item, you can make your purchase directly from the app. This presentation will give you an in depth view of what this app will offer to the consumer.

The next segment is teen age girls between the ages of 12-18, they have no income of their own, but are given an allowance of $50 every week. The final segment would be women between the ages of with an income of $150,000-$300,000. They are married with children so they would not only be shopping for themselves, but her family as well.

F INANCIAL F ORECAST (R EVENUES & C OST ) 13 This is the financial forecast for the iShop app. The total amount borrowed is $5,000. The interest rate for the loan is 8% APR. The total time of the loan would be 5 years. Monthly payments would be $101 per month. After five years, a total payments of $6,083 would be made with a finance charge of $1,083.
