What happens? Associate Postgraduate Deans administer fund in LETB Funding stream then varies – Delegation to Trusts – Retained centrally – Mixture
In EoE £1.1 million 30 Trusts SAS Tutor in each Approx 80-90% of funds delegated to Trusts to be used locally 6 monthly financial returns “Use it or lose it”
Local Use Courses – individual or group Backfill for placements Appraisal support SAS Days “Benefit the many” SAS Tutor – SPAs ( ) Administration (5-10%)
“Quid pro quo” Not about entitlement Value to Trusts beyond the clinical Educational/ Clinical Supervision SAS doctors as Appraisers Audit/ Governance
