Today’s Goals: ► I can understand the meaning of the root eu and the meaning of compensate. ► I can write using eulogy correctly. ► I can write using the correct meaning of compensate ► I can complete quick-writes using the unit’s words.

Compensate –verb 1.to behave in a way that emphasizes a particular ability or personality trait in order to make up for a deficiency in another 2.to pay somebody for work done or for something lost. ► Example Sentence: ► Ms. Johnsoncompensated her brother when he bought her lunch. ► NOW….in the batman box, write a sentence using Compensate.
