Dr Thomas V Taylor Former Professor of Anatomy Dr. Thomas V. Taylor taught anatomy at the University of Manchester for a year after working for a time at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. After teaching for one year, Dr. Taylor became a resident in general surgery at the Royal Post- Graduate Medical School and Hammersmith Hospital in London. He returned to Manchester Royal to complete his surgical training with a residency in general surgery, urology, orthopedics, and cardiac surgery.

He later went back to the Manchester Royal Infirmary, where he had been a resident before, to be a consultant surgical gastroenterologist. He would later become the Chief of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Manchester and a Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Manchester.

After medical school there, he completed an internship in medicine and neurology followed by another internship in general surgery and urology. Dr. Taylor taught at the University of Manchester for a year and earned a residency at the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital in London. He now lives in Houston.

He has trained hundreds of surgical fellows during his time at the Manchester Royal Infirmary, the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, and the Royal National Orthopedics Hospital in the United Kingdom. He moved to Houston 25 years ago to teach and lecture at Baylor University.
