 is a website available to teachers for free.  Can be used to easily create websites with desired information.  We will be using a Wiki later in this presentation so you can see the functionality. Exploring New Territories Wiki Spaces

 In groups of 4-5, use a chart paper and markers to create your “Student”  Draw the student in the middle of the page  List students strengths, limitations, Learning style, physical/cognitive abilities, and social skill levels.  Start with manageable curriculum units: i.e. math lesson  Identify the goals of the unit: the standards or access points  Identify what the student needs to do to show mastery of the standard  Determine what the instructional barriers are for your student:  Determine what tools would help the student to be able to actively participate/engage in the lesson.  Determine how goals, methods and assessments can be adjusted.
