 The exercise will be held only on September 22, 2010 on NPP Temelín  The aim of the exercise on NPP Temelín is to initiate the exercises for external crisis organization  The organization of emergency response + selected staff will be trained On NPP Temelín  During the exercise the Unit 1 is in an outage, Unit 2 is in operation Exercise „Zóna 2010“ on NPP Temelín

Scenario: There will be simulated radioactive release to the environment. Release will be from broken pipeline of primary circuit. Situation will be impaired by loss of outer power (LOOP). - 06:00 extraordinary event 2 ND DEGREE - 07:00 extraordinary event 3 RD DEGREE - 09:00 radioactive substances release into the environment - 12:00 end of radioactive substances release into the environment - after 12:00 start of radiation monitoring in emergency planning zone - till 20:00 end of the exercise on NPP Temelín The scenario is practically excluded (radioactive release from containment is accelerated for the purpose of the exercise) Exercise „Zóna 2010“ on NPP Temelín – timeline

- Warning of employees on the NPP Temelín (practiced) - Activation of the Standby Emergency Response Organization (practiced) - Declaration of protective measures for the employees (only simulated) - Immediate notification of the concerned organizations (practiced) - Warning of the population in the emergency planning zone (sirens will not activated) - Management and performance of the interventions to restrict extraordinary event development (only simulated) - Radiation monitoring (practiced) -Providing of information for the media (only simulated) -Cooperation with concerned organizations crisis staff (practiced) NPP Temelín duties during extraordinary event

Safety and security rules on NPP Temelín  You will be divided to groups with guides. The guides will be ready to answer all your questions.  Wear a helmet on the site! We recommend that you wear solid shoes with low heels !  Leave your mobile phones and cameras in lockers at Information centre!  Keep your passport by yourself during entire visit!
