THE DROUGHT. WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE WATER? BEFORE THE DROUGHT AFTER THE DROUGHT

HUMANS ARE MAKING THE WATER WORST BECAUSE THERE DRAINING ALL THE WATER FROM THE RIVERS AND THE OCEAN WATERS. WITHOUT WATER WE WILL BECOME DEHYDRATED AND THE WILL BE NOTHING TO MAKE US SURVIVE, CAUSE’ NOBODY CAN LIVE WHEN THERE IS NO WATER ONE THE PLANET. CALIFORNIA’S WATER IS DROPPING EVERY SECOND. ONCE WE TURN ON THE WATER WHERE LOSING MORE WATER. WHEN WE BUY WATER BOTTLES WHERE LOSING A BUNCH OF WATER.

THIS IS HOW OUR EARTH WILL LOOK LIKE THIS IF WE LEAVE THE WATER ON OR KEEP ON BUYING WATER IF WE DIDN’T BUY WATER, THEN THEY WOULDN’T BE NO ONE PROLLY MAKING WATER. (NOT OUR FEET)

WHAT IS A DROUGHT? A DROUGHT IS AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF DEFICIENT RAINFALL RELATIVE TO THE STATISTICAL MULTI-YEAR AVERAGE FOR A REGION. BUT BECAUSE OF THE VARIOUS WAYS IT IS MEASURED, AN OBJECTIVE DROUGHT DEFINITION HAS YET TO BE PRODUCED UPON WHICH EVERYONE CAN AGREE

THE FOUR TYPES ARE : METEOROLOGICAL ( LACK OF PRECIPITATION ), AGRICULTURAL, ( LACK OF MOISTURE IN THE SO IS WHERE CROPS GROW ), HYDROLOGICAL ( LOW LEVELS OF WATER IN LAKES AND RESERVOIRS ), AND SOCIOECONOMIC ( WATER SHORTAGES IN DRINKING AND RUNNING WATER )

ONLY.003% OF WATER ON EARTH IS FRESH WATER AVAILABLE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. SAVE WATER BY CHALLENGING FRIEND TO ONLY USE 13 GALLONS OF WATER IN A DAY

METEOROLOGISTS PREDICT DROUGHT BASED ON PRECIPITATION PATTERNS, STEAM FLOW, AND MOISTURE OF SOIL OVER LONG PERIOD OF TIME. IN THE IN THE UNITED STATES, DROUGHTS ARE MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR IN THE MIDWEST AND THE SOUTH.

IN THE UNTIED STATES DROUGHT CAN HAVE MAJOR IMPACT ON AGRICULTURE, RECREATION AND TOURISM. WATER SUPPLY, ENERGY PRODUCTION AND TRANSPORTATION. NATIONWIDE LOSSES FROM THE U.S DROUGHT OF 1998 EXCEEDED $40 BILLION, MORE THAN THE LOSSES CAUSED BY HURRICANE ANDREW IN 1992, THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER FLOODS OF 1993, AND THE SAN FRANCISCO EARTHQUAKE IN 1989.

THE EFFECTS OF DROUGHT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO SUPPORT FOOD CROPS. A PROLONGED DROUGHT COULD LEAD TO FAMINE

IN THE UNITED STATES THE WEST HAS EXPERIENCED LESS RAIN OVER THE PAST 50 YEARS, AS WELL AS INCREASES IN THE SEVERITY AND THE LENGTH OF DROUGHT; THIS HAS BEEN ESPECIALLY OF CONCERN IN THE SOUTHWEST

WHAT IS FAMINE ?
