WHO ARE THE MELON RUNNERS?

ALL IN A GOOD CAUSE St Luke’s Hospice looks after people who are terminally ill and try to give them the best quality of life they can. It is a very special charity for Plymouth as many local people have seen family members and loved ones cared for by them. We felt very happy and proud knowing that we were going to raise money for this amazing charity.

GETTING SPONSORS

HOW MUCH DID WE RAISE? After the run we collected the money from all of our sponsors and in total we raised was over £ We were really pleased with the result! Hopefully we can ask St Luke’s Hospice for a big cheque and we can present it to them in assembly. We might even get our picture in the paper.

WHAT DID WE LEARN? As well as raising the money we were very proud of ourselves for organising the event on our own and working so so well together as a team. We learnt that even though we are young we can achieve a great deal. So just remember if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything.
