Christmas Eve One of our traditions is Christmas Eve. Family eat 12 dishes, sing carols and share wafer.

„Smigus Dyngus” Śmigus Dyngus is a second day of Easter. It's called Wet Monday too. People (most children) splash water on each other. We have a lot of fun :)

New Year On 31 st December we celebrate „new year coming” ang have a party. At midnight we have fireworks and drink champagne.

Mikolajki 6 th December Santa Claus (in Poland – Święty Mikołaj) comes to children's houses and gives them presents at night. A day before Mikołajki they make „list of wishes”

Barszcz Barszcz – Borsch. Beetroot soup with mushroom dumplings. It’s our traditional dish on Christmas Eve.

Bigos Bigos is a hunters’ dish with sauerkraut, meat and sausage. It doesn’t look good but it’s delicious.
