The Mystery of the Missing Dog By Irene Schultz Mystery Published by Wright Group Copyright Date Unknown Number of pages 123

Setting It takes place in modern times. The action takes at big at Big Rock River Ranch. The time of year was spring

The main characters are Bill, Sammy, Mr. and Mrs. Adams, Kathy, Dave, Dusty, and Mrs. Tandy. The character I liked the most was Dusty because he is a dog and he is trustworthy. The characters are believable because people can really rescue a dog or catch an illegal trapper. I could relate to Bill because he is tough, strong and smart. I have felt the same way as Sammy because my dog was once like Dusty so I would panic like he did too. Characters

Plot The conflict was that Dusty about dyed and they were trying to catch an illegal trapper. Then the person got caught in his own bear trap. Jess and Lena gave them more information. Seven major events are Dusty went missing, Dusty was caught in a trap, Jess and Lena were buried in a cabin, Dusty’s leg was cut off, they heard someone yelling S.O.S in the snow, They found Dusty laying beside a dead deer, Then Turner was running away when he got caught in his own illegal bear trap. I like the ending because the found out who broke Dusty’s leg.

Personal Opinion What I like about the book is that it is about a dog and it’s sad and funny. I wouldn’t change any thing about this book it’s already better than it needs to be. Not to panic if you hear something peculiar. I thing the whole world should read this book because it makes you think about you past. I give this book a rating of [I couldn’t put it down it was so good.]
