What is the teaching process?

(There's nothing funny about grading)

First Day of School Google Spreadsheets allow me to outsource my Seating Chart, but also make it an interactive experience.Seating Char

First Day of School This form allows me to immediately ask for student usernames and passwords choices, which can be given to the admin for adding users to Google Apps and other sites.form

Lesson Planning- Presentations Why hasn't the Lesson Plan evolved? Every day I create an interactive lesson plan using Google Presentations. Links are hot, videos are embedded. Click here to view this one. evolved here

Lesson Planning- Presentations By using the Speaker Notes Section, I can paste in the related standards for the lesson.

Lesson Planning- Presentations For any terms, I can offer hot links, to give students additional information.

Lesson Planning- Presentations To guide learning, I can embed any related tutorials or videos right into the lesson plan. (Gagne's 5th Step.)Step

Lesson Planning- Presentations Now that Docs let's you share folders, I can put all of my Lesson Plans in a folder, then share those with my Principal.

Homework- Calendar and Presentations Homework calendars are embedded right into my Teacher Site. Teacher

Homework- Calendar and Presentations Individual assignments can have documents (and previous lessons) attached.

Homework- Calendar and Presentations Create and embed a presentation and add a new slide every day! That way kids can flip back in time to check previous HW.embedpresentation

Content Delivery- Youtube and Tutorials For any observable skill, you can create tutorials, and embed those into your lesson. Create a channel in youtube. Mine is youtube.com/misterrezac youtube.com/misterrezac Gagne's Fifth Step (providing learning guidance).

Grading- Formative Assessment I used to use interactive journals for my science class every day.

Grading- Formative Assessment I still do. In Google Sites. Students can embed HTML widgets, Docs, Google Gadgets, draw pictures and more. do

Forms allow me to survey my kids on any given day.survey my kids Grading- Formative Assessment

Forms give me instant results. I have very little need for clickers in a 1-1 environment. Grading- Formative Assessment

Forms allow me to give a self-grading quiz. Also called a Digital Scantron. self-grading Grading- Formative and Summative Assessment

Docs or Spreadsheets allow me to fill out individual rubrics and share them with the student. individual rubrics Grading- Summative Assessment

Gradebook. I don't use Google as a gradebook, but here is a possibility. here Grading- Summative Assessment
