4 Video chart: Watch the following videos on YouTube about different words and accents in English varieties and answer the following questions. 1.British vs. American colloquial expressions: note down new colloquial words and expressions 2. Within an elevator: what accents can you hear? 3.African American English (or Ebonics) in the classroom. Why should African-American kids learn mainstream American English? Listen to what the school principal says.
