Share who you are, your professional background & experience (especially any dealing with education), and your personal interest  I currently teach Special Education 6 th,7 th and 8 th grade in an SBS class Specialized Behavior Support self-contained classroom

Illustrate what your background as a K-12 student was like and discuss either a person or an experience that had a lasting influence on your life.  As a K-12 student I was not very interested in school. I feel that I was a different type of learner and I did not respond well to the traditional lecture.

 I am currently enrolled in the MATLT program and I hope to obtain employment as a technology facilitator.  I currently have an AAB, BSHA, M.Ed, Ed.S and this will be my 2 nd Master’s degree. I wanted to do this program, so that I am well able to use technology as an instructional tool in the classroom.

Things that I like to do…  I love to travel, this summer I went to the following places:  1. Lake Lure, NC  2. 7-day cruise St. Marteen, St. Thomas, and Bahamas  3. Myrtle Beach, SC  4. Charleston Beach, SC  5. Pigeon Forge, Tennessee I enjoy going to wine and beer tastings and I enjoy hiking for waterfalls.

My Current Goals are…  I would like to lose 100 pounds by my 40 th birthday I have 1 year and 1 month to reach my goal.  I would also like to obtain employment as a technology facilitator in my district.

Vacation Ice Breaker  One place I would like to go is to Alaska  I would like to take a 12 day cruise to Alaska. My uncle and his wife went before he died and he told me it was the most beautiful place he had ever seen.
