About myself… Jamaican born---yeah only went to the beach a few times/year.. Only child…lots of alone time…read a lot of books as a child including Jane Eyre—also watched Dynasty (yeah inappropriate) Became obsessed with chemistry in 9 th grade-declared my career choice—stalked my chemistry teacher, Mr Waldron…

About myself continued… Did many experiments in the kitchen and backyard including a biogas reactor… Migrated to America-majored in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering Worked as an Engineer at Dupont—did not like it….yikes Started teaching---found my thing!

Inspiration “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.
