Tim Smit and other creators of the Eden Project see the site as much more than a collection of plants.
The main purpose of Eden is to educate the public about the natural world, to show how we depend on plants and what we can do to save them.
Apart from over one hundred thousand plants, there are exhibits to suit almost everyone.
You can study the links between plants and music,
plants and health,
plants and sport.
And there are all sorts of events too, from tea- tasting…
and “chocolate” days…
…to live concerts.
The Secret of Success The Eden Project is very successful because of the main idea of it: not to be a museum but a living thing.
People who work there are very optimistic.
