The Gambia Karate Association in collaboration with the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) organize a three (3) days national marshal Arts demonstration at the Olympafrica Centre Serekunda East. This program brings over four hundred (400) young people boys and girls including children to attend a three (3) days national demonstration. It was held at the Bakau community centre and the Olympafrica Centre Serekunda East from the 28 th – 30 th October 2011.

KEYNOTE ADDRESS MARSHAL ARTS DEMONSTRATION The President of the Gambia Karate Association Mr. Musa Coker on his keynote address to the participants and also welcoming the experts from Senegal to the smiling coast of the Gambia.

THE WELCOMING OF THE EXPERTS The line up of the experts with the President of the Gambia Karate Association, right to left, Mr. Musa Mama, Mr. Sheikh Tijan Faal (President Zone 2), Mr. Musa Coker (President GKA), Mr. Alieu Camara (Champion holder Jujitsu).

DURING THE KARATE DEMONSTRATION These are the marshal arts promising athletes of the Gambia and today we are all setting our eyes on these young boys and girls who one fine day will win the Olympic gold medals for the Gambia.

DEMONSTRATION The two experts Faal and Camara from Senegal demonstrating to the participants on the techniques in marshal arts.

THE EXPERTS DEMONSTRATING The expert’s Faal and Camara demonstrating to the participants on the techniques in marshal arts.

THE LINE UP FOR DEMONSTRATION As young people interested in marshal arts they are in the position to show the rest of the participants what they gain from this important program.

CHILDREN DEMONSTRATING The children in the Gambia are never left behind in sports especially in marshal arts this children today have the opportunity to display their talents in marshal arts in front of over 400 athletes.

CHILDREN DEMONSTRATING The children are interested in sports especially in marshal arts this give them the opportunity to display their talents and we are very convince that these children can one day win the Olympic gold medals for the Gambia.

CHILDREN DEMONSTRATING It is always interesting seeing children doing sports and its our responsibility to give them full support and encourage them to do marshal arts.

GIRLS DEMONSTRATING Girls are never left behind in sports especially marshal arts these are young girls demonstrating their talents in front of over 400 participants.

GIRLS DEMONSTRATING These girls are really interested and enjoying what they are doing and they really learn a lot from this demonstration.

GIRLS DEMONSTRATING This really shows you how technique these girls are as we may all see the action in place and everybody was really impress with the performance of the girls.

GIRLS DEMONSTRATING These girls need to be encouraged because the talent is already in them all what they need is encouragement and support.

GIRLS DEMONSTRATING These girls are in the position to show out their talents during the three (3) days demonstration program.

THE EXPERT DEMONSTRATING The expert showing the participants the techniques on how to fight two or more people.

YOUNG PEOPLE DEMONSTRATING During the three (3) days demonstration this gives another opportunity to the young people doing marshal arts to gain more knowledge about the game.

YOUNG PEOPLE DEMONSTRATING The program really convince us that the young people of this country doing marshal arts are really talented and all what they need is support and encouragement.

YOUNG PEOPLE DEMONSTRATING During the three (3) days program all the participants show out their talents to their various masters who really impress with the level of performance during the demonstration.

YOUNG PEOPLE DEMONSTRATING Today the Gambia can be proud of these young people in marshal arts and they can one fine day win the Olympic gold medal for the Gambia.

YOUNG PEOPLE DEMONSTRATING These young people are really demonstrating what they gain from the program and the experts are really impress on what they are doing.
