Double Aux Drive Hybrid vehicles -> Electric auxilliaries Several of these used intermittently Can be combined, like air compressor and A/C compressor. One motor drive only needed. Benefit: - Lower system cost, higher system efficiency.

Double Aux Drive Goal: To design a combined electrically driven A/C and Air compressor system with an energy optimization strategy.

Aux Connector for a hybrid vehicle The hybrid vehicle electric power system has at least two voltage levels, 12/24 V and the traction voltage (e.g 300 V). The 12/24 V system is chassis ground. The traction voltage is floating. There is a DC/DC converter in between. Aux loads can be connected to both the 12/24 V and the traction voltage.

Aux Connector Goal: Design two connectors, one for the 12/24 V and one for the traction voltage, that guarantees safe connection ofxternal auxilliaries. A sensing ciruit, earth fault detection and mechanical design should be employed.
