Curriculum Night September 11, 2013

Remembering our district goals 100% proficiency in reading 100% proficiency in writing 100% proficiency in mathematics Differentiated approach to instruction – meeting the needs of all of our students! Communicating the curriculum – to students, to parents, and to each other These goals will be the focus of all that we do.

Focus School We are still in the Focus School cohort – it is a 4-5 year designation. We no longer have to offer a transfer and set-aside of funds is much less. The common message remains PERSONAL BESTS! Tremendous growth as documented last spring at PTA. District data shows that achievement gaps are closing. Most of that data is happening right here at Norup.

The new rating system

What we have going on to address this Math support classes remain for middle school. ELA classes are gone.
