Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 Objectives (a) preventing crime and disorder, (b) securing public safety, (c) preventing public nuisance, (d) protecting and improving public health, and (e) protecting children from harm.

Occasional Licences Can be issued to: Holder of a premises licence Holder of a personal licence Representative of a voluntary organisation

Duration of occasional licences Not more than 14 days Limit for voluntary organisations of: –Up to 4 licences for periods of 4 days or more; –Up to 12 for periods of less than 4 days
