1.Responding to anxiety by sinfully trying to “take control,” sometimes compromising morals to do so. 2.Responding in sin for the “rush,” or temporary, apparent feeling of power or control.

The reason anxiety triggers more sin is the underlying lack of peace.

1.“Rejoice in the Lord, always…” (v.4) 2.“Reasonableness…” (v.5) 3.“The Lord is at hand…” (v.6)

1.Anxiety is never the right response. 2.The alternative to anxiety is to “Let your requests be made known to God.”

1.By prayer. 2.By supplication. 3.With thanksgiving. The key is to talk to God specifically about your concerns in thankful, joyful prayer.
