Steve Jobs

Leadership Style “He pushed his employees extremely hard, way out of their comfort zones. Jobs was good at getting people to work together to accomplish things they didn’t believe they could achieve. That’s the definition of leadership!” Some leadership characteristics of Steve Jobs were focus, simplicity, elegance, innovation, authenticity, and vision.

Why do people follow him? Jobs wasn't just a savvy businessman, he was a visionary who made it his mission to humanize personal computing, rewriting the rules of user experience design, hardware design and software design. He built Apple up into one of the most valuable corporations in the world.

What event or series of events has this person done that has made them such a great leader? He helped revolutionize the way we live today and helped usher in one of the great transformations in communication changed the face of music and communication. Apple has represented a leap forward in design and functionality. Each product is invariably emulated by worldwide competitors. He was an innovator who had a solid vision of what he wanted to create and how to successfully market it. He insisted on the products he helped to create be the best that they could be. He didn't settle for mediocrity.

What has been learned from him? Many things that been learned from Steve Jobs, some on the few things we learned from him his: Keep it simple - Jobs insisted on simplicity in all his designs and a minimalist approach to create seamless customer experiences. Design and Quality - Jobs had a passion for elegant, sleek but practical designs, going back to the original Macs. Sweat The details - Jobs insisted that Apple nail every single detail it might be the letters in a logo or the exact wording in a speech Cut your losses Be Persistent - Jobs never gave up

What do you feel they could do to improve or could have done differently and why? I’m not sure he should have done anything differently. He is known as a genius CEO who created one of the strongest brands in the world. He was known to be very tough on people and hard to work with, but if he changed some of those characteristic Apple may not be what it is today

A famous Quote The greatest artists like Dylan, Picasso and Newton risked failure. And if we want to be great, we’ve got to risk it too.
