Case Study – Hospital 2800 fixtures were replaced with LED fixtures. Constraints - No disturbance to running operations and no changes to civil structure, electrical wiring/circuits. Lighting load reduction – 60% (from 124KW to 52KW) Payback period years. Overall duration - 8 weeks from PO to Handover (running hospital). Actual direct savings very close to the anticipated savings. Indirect savings - Reduced shut down due to no lighting failure, reduced manpower, reduced DG load, reduction in ambience temperature thereby reducing AC load.
