The bird of the paradiseThe bird of the paradise By Javier Sierra, 1st ESO B

Description The bird of paradise is an exotic animal. He has beautiful feathers of many different colors: green, red, yellow…

Some things about this animal This animal acts at the day. It lives, mainly, in some of all the forests of the Australian rainforest. The diet of the birds-of-paradise is dominated by fruit and arthropods. They are eaten by a snake or bird of prey; adult birds of paradise have very few natural predators. Their main enemy is man. This animal can’t avoid of his predators, only a few times he avoid them, and is because is because of his feathers, that gives him camouflage, because of the colors of the feathers, that are very similar than the colors of the tree’s flowers.

Some more information Because his feather’s colors are beautiful, and I think human catch him because of that. To prevent the catch of this animal, make a natural park with some copies of them… We could do many things! We are threatening this animal existence because we hunt him; we fell down the trees in wich they live, etc.

Save this animal!!!
