CATS in the Entrance Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Walk from “A to B”, head up and with a purpose. Pass through the entrance without blocking others. Come in with a positive attitude. Know the expectations. Open doors, offer to help, greet others, and step aside. Go from outside to inside voice. Keep hands and feet to self. Walk. Stay off ice, shelf and culvert.

CATS in the Hallway Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Go from “A” to “B” with your head up and with a purpose. Carry a pass. Walk without intimidating others. Greet those who walk by. Walk quietly. Stay to the right side of hall. Keep hands and feet off the walls and respect items on the walls. Keep hands and feet to self at all times. Walk corner to corner and wait for the teacher. Always walk!

CATS in the Office Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Wait patiently for your turn. State your business politely and clearly. Carry an office pass. Be polite, use good manners, offer a chair to a parent, use a quiet voice. Keep hands and feet to self. Sit quietly.

CATS in the Classroom Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Be prepared. Be organized. Be willing to try. Give the teacher “5”. Raise your hand. Wait patiently for your turn. Use inside voice. Share, help, and encourage others. Keep hands and feet to self. Keep “4 on the floor”

CATS in the Bathroom Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Take care of business quickly and return to class. Carry a bathroom pass. Always flush. Wash hands. Use toilet paper, soap and paper towels in an appropriate way. Be respectful of other people’s privacy. No graffiti. Keep hands and feet to self. Use sink and toilets appropriately. Wash with soap. Report any problems.

CATS in the Cafeteria Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Wait patiently on line, face forward, stop at front line. Three people at counter, one at trays. Stop at computer, say name. Sit as assigned. Stay seated. Get permission to leave and use a pass to go to the bathroom or office. Use inside voice and good manners. Offer to help clean. Raise hand to empty tray. Use please and thank you. Keep hands and feet to self. Keep space in line. Use utensils correctly. Do not exchange, play with, or throw food.

CATS in an Assembly Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Come in quietly and sit quietly. Listen. Give the speaker “5”. Use restroom BEFORE the assembly. Be respectful. Applaud and cheer at appropriate times. Keep hands and feet to self. Sit student style. Watch out for others when walking though the audience.

CATS in the Library Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Use resources. Ask for help. Recommend books for others. Give the teacher “5”. Choose appropriate books. Wait patiently. Read quietly. Use shelf savers. Clean up. Keep hands and feet to self. Push in chairs. Use shelf savers appropriately.

CATS in PE Confident Accepting Thoughtful Safe Play and walk without bullying. Follow procedures. Play by the rules. Peacefully accept when you are “out”. Share equipment. Play with good sportsmanship. Try your best and encourage each other to try. Keep hands and feet to self. Use equipment appropriately. Stay in area of supervision.
