Mountains

Folded Mountains A folded Mountain is made when rock layers are squeezed and thin it is pushed up. The boundary that made the Folded mountains is the Convergent boundary.

Fault Block Mountains A Fault Block Mountain is made when this tension causes large blocks of earths crust to drop down relative to other blocks. The boundary that made the Fault block mountains is the transform boundary.

Volcanic Mountains This is made when rock that is melted in subduction zones forms magma which rises to earths surface and erupts to form volcanic mountains. The boundary that made the Volcanic mountain is the subduction zone.
