Our dear Parents and Guardians, We, Al-Mizan Tahfiz Academy understands the importance of raising children in a good Islamic environment, especially in a foreign land. Hence, we have taken upon ourselves the duty to teach our upcoming leaders the same manners, belief, worship, and values the Prophet (may the peace and salutations of ALLAH be upon him) left us upon, whilst following the understanding of the Salaf as Saalih (Pious predecessors).

We aim to instill Islamic values and distinctive derived from the Qur'an and Sunnah into the succeeding contemporaries of teachers and scholars. We have set responsibilities upon ourselves to teach the children of the community the fundamental principles of the Islamic Faith enabling our forthcoming leaders to understand, help them realize, and practice the fundamental daily obligations which are required from them. Our dear parent and guardian, ALLAH has ordered a great obligation upon mankind to save themselves and their families from the hellfire.

Allah said in his glorious Qur’an, “O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing the commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded. ( Surah At-Tahrim 66:6) Allah said in his glorious Qur’an, “O you who believe! ( Surah At-Tahrim 66:6)

Our Prophet (may the peace and salutations of ALLAH be upon him), ordered every parent and guardian, to teach and encourage their children the prayer, which is binding upon young and mature Muslim. Rasullollah (may the peace and salutations of ALLAH be upon him) said, “And teach them (children) to pray when they are seven years old.’ (Abu Dawood (495); classed as Saheeh by al-Albaanee). At Al-Mizan Tahfiz Academy, we inspire the Arabic language greatly, as a phenomenon we believe that every Muslim child should be taught a fundamental level of Arabic in order to read and understand the Quran and Sunnah.

Our teaching program: Islamic Studies: The precise Islamic Aqeedah is primarily part of the Al-Mizan Tahfiz Academy system. We commit ourselves to teach the children the precise Islamic belief which our Prophet taught his nation.

Evenly, great importance is placed on teaching and warning the children against several aberrant political orientation, which have smitten many of the youth today. We aim to educate the children about the dangers of extremism ideologies in Islam.

Arabic Language: The Arabic linguistic communication has a major role in understanding Islam. In order for the children to truly and sincerely understand the Qur'an and Sunnah without a translation, it is essential that they are taught from an advance age how to understand, read, and write basic Arabic.
