IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GIVE UP YOUR TOYS, YOU’RE GOING TO NEED TO MAKE ENERGY IN A WAY THE EARTH LIKES.

THE SUN CAN PROVIDE MORE THAN ENOUGH OF OUR ENERGY NEEDS The sun provides earth with approximately 7,000 times more energy than we consume globally. So why are we not using more solar energy? The silicon wafer used in solar cells require a level of purity that is difficult and expensive. Dyes and QDs can also absorb energy and does not require the same amount of purity. Our job is to find substance(s) that can help dyes and QDs stick onto glass.

You have been hired in the very preliminary phase of research and development to make solar cells at low cost. To make Very thin films of light absorbing materials will be laid on glass. You will need to recommend to the solar energy company the substance(s) that are good candidates for further research because they can stick on glass. Good luck! YOUR JOB:
