Practicing Rules for Proper Online Communication

 Sandra swiped her BFF’s 3G mobile phone without her knowledge. She proceeded to update Larissa’s status saying that “she likes big boobs.”  Which netiquette rule did Sandra violate?  Respecting another’s privacy  Using Golden Rule

 While Jessie was on his Discussion Board for his American History class, he became angry over another student’s comments. Jessie proceeded to argue with that student back and forth even typing some answers in “All Caps.”  What netiquette rule did Jessie violate? No Flame Wars Use appropriate language

 Jenna posted some suggestive pictures of herself on her Facebook page. Her friends tagged the photos and they went “viral.” Several people at school began to harrass her suggesting that she was a “loose.”  What netiquette rule did Jenna fail to follow?  Be careful with use of “All Caps.”  What you say or post online can be traced back to you.

 While Yolanda was an her IM account chatting with her BFF Marcie, she became very annoyed with her because she was slow to reply. She began to send several messages to Marcie overwhelming her until she stopped the conversation.  What netiquette rule did Yolanda fail to follow?  Use proper spelling and grammar usage.  Be patient while communicating online
