2014 QUALIFICATION & MAINTAINING QUALIFCATION To participate in Rotary Foundation global grants and district grants: 1)The club must agree to implement the financial and stewardship requirements in this memorandum of understanding (MOU) provided by The Rotary Foundation (TRF) 2) Send at least one club member to the district’s grant management seminar each year.

2014 Q: Why must a club be qualified to apply for Rotary Foundation grants? A: Qualification is the process by which clubs ensure that they have the necessary financial and stewardship controls in place to manage grant funds. Any Club that wishes to be the primary sponsor of a global grant must be qualified. QUALIFICATION & MAINTAINING QUALIFCATION

2014 Q: How does a club becomes qualified? A: In order to be qualified, a club must sign the club memorandum of understanding (MOU) and send at least one member to a grant management seminar organized by the district. The process ensures that clubs are aware of all Rotary requirements before receiving grant funds. By attending this training, you complete the first step towards qualification. One club member must attend this seminar annually and then share the information with fellow club members. The second step is to have the club president and president- elect sign and submit the club memorandum of understanding (MOU).
