 It is not a single disease itself. It contains several number of brain disorders which has more severe symptoms. This classification of brain disorder in known as dementia.  Alzheimer disease is the most common and best known for dementia.

 Brain cell death is the main cause for all kind of dementias.  Sometimes neurode- generative disease can also cause dementia.  head injuries, a stroke or a brain tumor, are the reasons for brain cell death.

A person having dementia may show many problems, mostly allied with memory loss.  Recent memory loss.  Mood and Personality changes.  Disorientation with time and place.  Impaired judgment.  Communication problem.

Researchers are giving a hope that in next 5 years they will find a cure for dementia. But the question is can dementia be cured? Researchers have already spent 50years to find a proper cure. Is it possible to find a therapy or medication which will give a relief from every type of dementia.can dementia be cured

There is no cure for Alzheimer or any other dementias but with the help of proper medication, patients can get improvements for some symptoms like anxiety, memory loss and depressions.
