The walls on midgrade blades are about half the thickness of Heavy Grade blades and, while appropriate for light contact, are not best suited for heavy contact. Ultra Edge Midgrade – Made of white polycarbonate, this blade looks fuller and brighter during illumination, taking the light all the way to the edge. Heavy Grade – Thicker, heavier, and greater in strength and durability, this blade is slightly less bright. Ultra Edge Heavy Grade – Less brightness, especially in some colors, but strong enough for use in moderate to heavy dueling and contact. Blades are also available in 24”, 32”, and 36” lengths.
